Hi

I'm back with the mask challenge.

If you want some tips on how to use a mask in MMS, you can go on the MM blog and read my tip here and here

Use at least 50% of my kits.
There are always some freebies in my store here

Post your layout here. You can also show it on my facebook fanpage

To get the FREE mask reply here in this forum and the link will be PMed to you. You are expected to submit a page if you request the mask.

If for any reason you are not able to post the page you made, please let me know. You can always post late, but if you ask the link and you don't post a page 2 times without a reason, I'll not send you the link for the next month.

Challenge ends at 11:59pm Paris Time on August 31th, 2019

well I think it is hard to fit a photo to a mask in MM9. In other software it's easy but in the MyMemories software you just put a photo in the mask and then you can not make any changes. If your photo is to big and things are not in the mask because they are out of the mask zone, maybe you can make a white space around your photo or black or any other color if that's better.
Open on your page where you have the mask, without applying it. Then rezise your photo so that it would fit in the mask.
Then delete the mask and export the page with just the photo on it, as a jpg.If you want another color as white just color the background before exporting the page (in my last designer tip from this weekend, the one about the journal card, I explain how to export a page)
Then restart, open your mask and retry to apply the photo you just exported.
Please let me know if this worked for you. I never tried so this is just an idea

Momspiano tiny.jpg

Saying Goodbye to Mom’s Piano.  Mom's piano was always a bit out of tune, no matter when it was tuned.  When we got to the point of needing to move it out of the house, no one would take it, even for scrap.  Scott got a dumpster for this and other things, then he, Rodney, and West maneuvered the piano out of the house, down the stairs, and up the ramp to the dumpster.  The sheet music & book covers are from some of my favorites to play and/or sing.  July 24, 2016.

I used the challenge mask for all the covers, a paper and a cluster from “Weekly Planner Add-on,” a paper from the July 2019 blog train, a paper from “Artsy bits & add-ons,” an element from the May 2019 blog train, all by Happy Scrap Arts; scatter from “House for Rent Mini” by Marniejo’s House of Scraps; a template from “In the Band” by Made By Keuntje & Clever Monkey Graphics; and an element and an overlay from “MM8 Embellishments” collab.
