Hi Everyone,
I'm Laura, New to My Memories but not new to creating documents, etc.
When I create a FB cover photo, it looks great on my screen, but when I upload to FB, some of the graphics look grainy. Some of the graphics i'm using are from various digital graphic designers, not all My Memories designers...although i'm sure many of them are. I'm using the full new version of MM on a Mac.
Is there a reason for this??

Hi, Check the DPI on your images and on what you are exporting to FB.

So any graphics you've purchased from MyMemories SHOULD be the correct DPI (300 dots per square inch).  Start by making sure the Facebook Cover you are creating is the correct dimension for a Facebook cover.  They change it a lot and profiles/groups/pages are all slightly different.  If you make a canvas that is 820pixelsx360pixels, you should be okay for any of them - but keep any important elements or text to the center.

Then export your final image as a PNG instead of a JPG.  Facebook often monkeys around with JPGS - condensing them to save space, but they can't compress a PNG. So a PNG is a better option for Facebook headers/covers.  PNG is one of the options on your export screen.

Good luck!
Feel free to message me if you have any other questions!
